i went into the dollar store and this one was SUPED UP! i was looking at stuff thinking, "it can't possibly be a dollar." call me a snob, but i was completely skeptical of the food aisle. i mean, i saw brand name cheese, meat, drinks etc. all priced at a dollar each. i was wondering, "is it old? is it damaged?" i mean, i know they can't sell bad food, but why couldn't i trust it? that's when i started to realize how spoiled i was. here i am thinking that i'm not a label whore, that i love a good bargain but i wouldn't think of ever buying food at the dollar store.
speaking of food, i got my blood results back and everything for the most part looks good. my blood sugar's a little high, so i need to watch my carb intake and follow up in 6 months. also, i'm not storing iron very well, so i have to be really good about taking my multi-vitamin. *sigh* i love food.
orientation went pretty smoothly. our team won the scavenger hunt today and i love how my competitive spirit comes out. it didn't hurt either that our team leader gave us hints on where to look. hahah...the group looks really friendly and plenty of eye candy to make the day go by faster.
not that i would be looking...
=x
