so i finally went out with the classmates last night at a jazzbar at the San Sebastian Winery. it was awesome because it was outdoors. weather, although muggy, was beautiful. i split a pitcher of sangria with one of my new gal pals, a tall blond white gal from indiana. yeah, go fig. the live band was so awesome. i definitely was thinking of how great it would've been with my peoples, so please know that i was thinking of you so so very much! it was nice to talk with the classmates and some that are in other semesters, outside the school setting. indiana girl and i are starting to see the ones that we see ourselves hanging out with. indiana and i hit it off because we're both in the OT program and we are both pursuing our masters with the intent of working with autistic children. she's also been involved working with adopted filipino kids back home and i'm like, hello, you're cool! she also lives across the street from the beach, so yeah, definite study sessions at her place. everyone was real chill. my big and adopted OT big were there. of course they are southern drinkers and i love them for that!
today i took the mandatory cpr certification and now i'm trying to motivate myself to go study and workout. indeed. we shall see what ends up happening.
