this was just the beginning of the beauty that surrounded me for my birthday. with so many things weighing on my mind and heart, i was reminded with the arrival of my out of town guests how blessed i am to be able to celebrate another year of life. after taking natasha out, this was my chance to explore st. augustine again. we stopped by the
Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and took in the beautiful view.

one thing that i've really noticed about living in st. augustine, is that the weather will take so much out of you. we decided to go on a ghost tour and stopped by the ripley's museum to pick up tickets. because we didn't want to drive back and forth, we went to a Tapas bar and had the best red sangria i've ever had. we were a little thrown off by the setting, but i think we were pretty happy being out of the heat.

after dinner we started walking over to the museum. in anticipation for the ghost tour, ekie was scared, jun was intrigued, and i was basically down for whatever. i've never been to a ripley's museum, and we got to be in it for part of the tour with all the lights out.

hehehe...so we ended the night walking through the plaza where we had a photo shoot

yes, i want to leave a legacy. =) so that was my birthday day. the next day we forced ourselves to get up early, went to church at the cathedral, breakfast at a cafe in old town, and then went to the lightner museum.

we went around a little more and even got to stop by the beach:

i was so blessed to have jun and ekie in town. i was so sad to see them go, at 5 in the morning. i think i would've been so depressed if they weren't here, so i am so thankful for them. *sigh*
